Spacca Tutto

Nancy Silverton opened Spacca Tutto on October 15 in Palisades Village, a modern Italian steakhouse in a neighbourhood still coming back from the January 2025 fire. It joins Porta Via and Alphabet Bar and Grill among the restaurants that have reopened the village in recent months.
Rick Caruso, who owns Palisades Village and loves her chi SPACCA in Hollywood, cold-called her with what he called a big, crazy idea. The menu takes its lead from chi SPACCA, with steaks at the center and the steakhouse classics around them: shrimp cocktail, steak tartare, crab Louie.
From chi SPACCA come the escarole Caesar and the cheese-filled focaccia di Recco, and the sourdough is from Bub and Grandma's. Porchetta fredda, the cold-sliced Italian roast pork, sits with anchovy crostini and grilled prawns dressed with lemon and olive oil.

At the heart of it is a lively bar built around martinis and negronis, with Italian and California wines, and there is a covered patio as well as the main room. Silverton founded La Brea Bakery and then Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza and chi SPACCA, and she is the James Beard Foundation's 2026 Lifetime Achievement honoree. Spacca Tutto roughly translates as go for it.
